    Make Cracker Jacks

    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • 1/2 cup dark molasses
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 5 quarts popped corn
    • Peanuts

    • combine sugar, molasses, and water in a sauce pan and boil to around 235F or util it becomes soft like cotton
    • Remove from heat and add baking soda, mix in well. .
    • Mix the peanuts and popcorn together in a flat tray or large bowl.
    • Pour the warm mixture all over the popcorn and nuts. Stir to get the popcorn coated.
    • Let cool.
