| Make Cracker Jacks |

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup dark molasses
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 5 quarts popped corn
- Peanuts

- combine sugar, molasses, and water in a sauce pan and boil to around 235F or util it becomes soft like cotton
- Remove from heat and add baking soda, mix in well. .
- Mix the peanuts and popcorn together in a flat tray or large bowl.
- Pour the warm mixture all over the popcorn and nuts. Stir to get the popcorn coated.
- Let cool.
